#215 - Bold EPMO Value Improvement Through Process Agility and Innovation
Description:
Preferred Mutual, a property and casualty insurance company located in New Berlin, New York, USA, faced increasing competition and stiffer regulatory requirements. To combat this, Preferred Mutual established an EPMO to report directly to the executive vice president and chief strategy officer. The EPMO's goal is to enhance the selection, execution and governance of the portfolio of new and existing insurance products and investments required to meet or exceed business performance expectations and deliver greater value to its customers. This session is a case study of the Preferred Mutual EPMO establishment and will offer practical advice for others on an EPMO journey.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to: (1) Relate an EPMO journey and the integration of agility and innovation to their own organizations; (2) Describe a real-world example of challenges/bold successes from EPMO management of the business line portfolio, including new products and key investments.
