In 2018 Telstra's ePMO and Capital Management Function was awarded Global PMO of the Year by PMI. This recognized the continuous evolution and adaptation the ePMO has performed to directly influence, shape and support Telstra's strategy execution. Our ePMO has not been an overnight success, rather a journey of stepping stones and capability developments to keep pace as the organization has strengthened execution maturity and become more adaptive, flexible and agile in its service delivery. Through this change, the ePMO has provided valuable leadership in the management of Telstra's multi-billion dollar annual project investment program. Key adaptations have been undertaken to ensure provision of relevant services and shape and drive improved portfolio planning and execution success. We will explain how our ePMO have adapted from 'old ways of working' to better support the organization as it faces disruption from start-ups, market dynamics, technology revolution, rapid change in consumer preferences, requiring more flexibility, faster delivery and a re-think of our business models. We will outline our plans to remain relevant and successful well into the future, and how as project leaders of tomorrow we embrace the new ways of working and imbed into PPM practices greater agility, adaptability and resilience.
